由於過往被中年以上的男性跟蹤的經歷,畫者試圖將該些對方設定為繪畫中的主角,為其「造像」。在認知層面上,對方為中至晚年的男性;在經驗層面上,對於正在老去的他們會衍生出對人類不敵風霜的悲憫情感,同時亦因個人經歷而試圖擺脫對之恐懼不安的印象;而在繪畫層面上,除了會跟對象建立畫與被畫的關係外,畫者以寫意水墨造像過程間,透過筆法與墨變將對象的形象轉換微調,使之顯得較貼近畫者所感知的印象。

 

Due to the past experience of being stalked by middle-aged men, the artist attempts to portray them as the main characters in her paintings.

On the cognitive level, the subject is a middle- to late-aged male; on the experiential level, the artist evokes compassion towards the aging males and tries to get rid of the impression of fear and anxiety towards them due to personal experiences. This makes it appear closer to the impression perceived by the artist.

At the painting level, despite building up a relationship with the subject, the artist uses XieYi Chinese ink method to create the image of the subject, fine-tuning the transformation of them through brushstrokes and ink variations so that the subject is perceived more intimately from the artist.
